He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. | Revelations 21:4

Every day we are bombarded with bad news or horrible events, and we’re certainly not immune to being directly affected by personal events. Life and suffering simply go hand in hand. As much as we detest it, this is the norm.

This is the earthly status of humanity.

One would feel terribly forlorn to be stuck in such a predicament, yet as believers we are not left bereft! We have incredible hope! There will be a day when our norm will no longer prevail! There will be a day when death, mourning, and pain will no longer exist!

For some of you, this may seem as unbelievable as a fairytale. I urge you to believe the words from the Bible! You must believe that Jesus says the truth because it will absolutely

set you free!

It may not seem like it now, but in all the turmoil of your life and your surroundings, there is a plan in place. There is Someone who loved you so much that He came into this world to save you! He literally wants to wipe away your tears, your sadness, and your suffering because He knows that realm very intimately, since He endured the worst on your behalf.

He promises that the former things will pass away. We get to look forward to that one day, but I do want to mention that if you choose Christ right now, YOU will become a new creation! Your old self, your old life will pass away because you will be reborn! Only Christ can bring change and victory in your life… not social media, not the government, and not your relationships.

Death shall be no more.
In its place, you will have

  1. Sheba, thank you for this reminder of the beautiful hope we have in Christ. He surely grants us freedom from every weight & sin when we accept Him as Savior! We have MUCH to look forward to in eternity with Him!
