Saying Goodbye

Isn’t it wonderful when God makes it completely clear
how He wants you to serve Him?

A year and a half ago, I was praying and asking the Lord to show me a way in which I could use my time and talents for Him. It was a crazy season of being a newlywed and trying to adjust to my new life as a wife and a full-time working woman.

When I was invited to join the Come Awake team as a writer back in 2017, it felt like too much. I didn’t even consider myself a writer, and what did I have to say that others haven’t already said? Still, I felt a gentle nudge from the Holy Spirit to join them for their retreat happening later that month. After spending a weekend with the amazing Come Awake team, I had so much peace about it, and knew it was exactly what God wanted me to do in that season.

I loved having the community of like-minded young people to share friendships with and to be encouraged by. Having the accountability to write one blog post a month about what the Lord was teaching me kept me in His Word and listening for His voice, even through the busiest season of my life to date.

I am so grateful
that I had this opportunity!

It is with joy and sadness that I announce that I am moving on to a different season of life, and am stepping down from the Come Awake team. My husband and I are expecting our first sweet baby in a few months, and God has given me peace about stepping into this new season of life, with the ministry of motherhood being my main focus.

I cannot even begin to say how much I have been blessed by being a part of the Come Awake team, and I pray that the blog posts I have written continue to bless others for years to come. Thank you to everyone who has read my posts and shared them with others. This is such an amazing ministry, and I am so excited to see what God has in store for the blog in the future!
